Ecorevive Research and Innovation is a Nepal-based social enterprise established in December 2023. We focus on creating safe, sustainable, and eco-friendly personal care and home care products using non-timber forest products (NTFPs) like reetha (soapnut), shikakai, chiuri, dhatello, and flaxseed.

Dear Natural Care → Personal care products (shampoo, conditioner, shower gel).
Zymewash Clean Co. → Eco-friendly home cleaning solutions (dishwashing liquid).
Chyoo.co → Chiuri-based wellness and lifestyle products.

We directly collaborate with rural farmers and community forest groups in Surkhet, Baitadi, and Ilam to source raw materials like reetha, shikakai, and chiuri. This ensures fair prices and employment opportunities, especially for women and marginalized groups.

Conventional shampoos, conditioners, and cleaning products contain sulfates, parabens, and even carcinogens. Women are disproportionately affected because of their primary role in domestic cleaning and personal care. By offering sulfate- and paraben-free products, we reduce health risks and promote safer alternatives.

Synthetic care products pollute rivers and harm aquatic ecosystems when washed off. Our biodegradable, plant-based formulations ensure that personal and home care routines no longer contribute to water pollution and environmental degradation.

We are reviving Nepal’s traditional wisdom by reintroducing natural cleansers like soapnut (reetha) and shikakai, which were widely used before synthetic products took over. By scientifically formulating these ingredients, we’re bridging tradition with modern eco-cert standards.

We aim to scale our impact across Nepal by building awareness about safe, natural alternatives, expanding production capacity, and fostering entrepreneurship among rural women. Ultimately, we want Ecorevive to be a leading force in climate-smart, socially inclusive innovation.

Unlike conventional products that often contain carcinogens, neuroendocrine disruptors, and synthetic fragrances, our formulations are made from natural plant-based extracts. We blend traditional knowledge (like soapnut for cleaning) with modern eco-certified ingredients to ensure safety, performance, and sustainability.

Yes. Our formulations are mild, sulfate-free, and dermatologically safe. Since we avoid harsh chemicals, they are suitable for sensitive skin and scalp. However, as with any natural product, we recommend patch testing first.

Absolutely. All our ingredients are chosen to be biodegradable and eco-safe. Unlike synthetic detergents and shampoos, our products do not pollute water bodies or harm aquatic life.

Our products are currently available online via webpage, Instagram (@dear.carenepal, @zymewash.clean.co) and at selected stalls and exhibitions. We are testing shelf readiness and plan to expand to retail stores soon.

Right now, we use PET bottles for stability and safety. But we are actively researching alternatives such as wheat straw and corn-straw biodegradable bottles to minimize plastic use.
